Abstract
In lot production, the inventory-holding cast, the sed-up cost and the production time vary according to the lot size. So, when deciding the product-mix, the lot sizing should be taken into account. In this paper the product-mix problem is investigated when the selected products are produced on a single machine in a common production cycle. A model for determining the product-mix and the cycle length for the selected products is constructed ; then, the model is analyzed to obtain optimal solutions. In addition, a computational algorithm is proposed, and a numerical example is demonstrated.
