Abstract
The manufacturing industry needs Total Flexible Real-time (TFR) production management systems to adapt itself to rapid changing environments. But it hasn't been developed yet. On the other hand, the control aspect of the system that is very important in real field hasn't been studied yet. The purpose of this study is 1) to present a framework of TFR one that uses a horizontal and hierarchical coordinating, 2) to present a detail system architecture to implement it on a computer and 3) to develop a prototype of it. In this study, we could build a flexible system by using distributed and cooperative processing based on black board model.
