Abstract
The sequential sampling inspection plans based on the minimal lattice paths have been presented by Furukawa et al. The inspection plans assure that the actual producer's and consumer's risks are strictly less than or equal to the specified values. However, the case in which a large average sample number is needlessly required often arises in their plans. In this paper, for the purpose of reducing the average sample number, a procedure for censoring inspection is proposed based on the minimax criterion introduced by Fujino et al.
