Resin-molded electronic devices which adds to the insulation and water pressure proof characteristics directly can be used in the deep sea. As primary batteries on the market also have considerable water pressure proof and we made it possible to apply electronic devices which integrate power sources, sensors, and amplifiers for the abyssal use.
This paper presents the performance characteristics of electronic devices, i. e. a resister, a capacitor, a thyristor, a AC switch, a water pressure measurement device, and a thermistor when the pressure increases with the finger-pin-closer type high hydraulic pressure vessel at max. 400 kgf /cm2.
