抄録
Regarding the outfitting design of Gen Engines, we are usually obliged to make a great deal of efforts when it comes to design, as there are so many factors in it, such as manufacturer, number, fuel oil, operating condition, owner's requirement, builder's idea and so on. Consequently even in case of same type vessel design, it would force designers to make extra design work, if some one factor is changed. This technical document was prepared expecting that it would be a little help for making kind of standard for it and improve such circumstances as much as possible, of course it is impossible to cover everything, by summarizing above-metioned factors including many things based on the result of questionnaires (For vessels built in 1994 and 1995) by THE MARINE ENGINEERING SOCIETY IN JAPAN.
