Mainly on Japanese literature

Abstract

About relation by Zhou Zuoren and the Japanese culture, it has been observed from the former. In this research, based on “Zhou Zuoren's diary”, considered the relation with changes of his purchase books, and the change of literature intention and the thought. The purchase of the Japanese writing of Zhou Zuoren increased rapidly from 1918, and had been increasing till 1934 when the diary is existing. Through this research, in New Culture Movement, that Zhou Zuoren purchased the books of Japanese poetry and a novel, because it was comply with Chinese literature circles,and, and he found out the possibility to literature as a means to change politics of those days and thought. And, after illness in March, 1921, the concern about Japanese literature changes from a novel to classical literature. This is because it converted ideologically and creatively.
