Thermal Expansion of Pb-Bi Alloys at Low Temperatures

Abstract

A study of thermal expansion of Pb-Bi alloys at temperatures between 0° and -195° was made. The result indicated that thermal expansion coefficient versus composition curve has a maximum at the solid solubility limit of Bi in Pb.
