Abstract

Pt and (001)Y-stabillized ZrO₂ were welded. HREM reveals that the Pt/c-ZrO₂ was directly bonded without any amorphous and reacted phases between their interfaces. The orientation of Pt particles on (001)c-ZrO₂ was randomly distributed, so that no particular orientation relationship could be found by the ECP studies.
