Recently, wind power generation has attracted attention as a system using natural energy. The variable speed control of wind power generation using a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) is not required exciter and gear, so there is an advantage that low cost and low noise. However, it is necessary to maintain the position sensor in this system. To solve this problem, this paper proposed the position sensor-less high efficiency wind power generation systems that use the estimation of the internal electromotive force. From several simulation tests results using proposed system, good results can be obtained.
