Power management methods in DC microgrids are attracting attention in order to increase the introduction rate of renewable energy sources. In this study, the operation method when a large number of photovoltaic (PV) systems are introduced into the microgrid is verified.
When there is an excessive supply of power, the proposed pseudo droop control of the PV system suppresses output power and maintains an appropriate balance between the power supply and the power demand. Simulations are used to investigate the effectiveness of pseudo droop control.
