Abstract

In a large-scale disaster, the ground communication infrastructure is possibly destroyed. The information blank period, when people cannot obtain the necessary information, is followed. In this study, we have designed a widearea disaster prevention information system using QZSS augmentation signal to support the evacuation of the users during the blank period. We performed an evacuation experiment to verify the effectiveness of the system from user views. The results of reception of information, trigger of the action and locasion-based broadcast, showed that the system is effective for users to evacuate to safe places.
