Abstract

The risk perception for individuals related to a seismic disaster was surveyed focusing onto the perception for the evacuation and the uneasiness of daily life under the function loss of lifeline systems. A questionnaire survey for the above stakeholders was done to clarify the dominant factors resulting in the evacuation from the immediately after the event to the reconstruction stage. During the time, the risk perception of the evacuation is strongly related with the perception of the function loss of lifeline systems because each system plays a necessary role in the daily life, and with the lack of its role the stakeholders may feel uneasy about their daily life after the event.
