A Study on construction of Disaster Mitigating Information Sharing Platform Environment

Abstract

In the disaster prevention field, the idea of disaster mitigation which does not prevent disaster completely but suppresses the influence of the generated disaster to the minimum is being circulated after a Kobe earthquake. By disaster mitigation, the information system is considered to play an important role.! Sharing of information is required in order to perform effective disaster measures.! The construction of the disaster prevention informationsharing platform which makes the information system of each disaster prevention organs concerned cooperate is proposed.! In this paper, the disaster mitigation information-sharing platform was defined as the framework for aiming at cooperation of the information system of a governmental agency or a public institution.
