In Akita prefecture, there are about 8,000 risk points of landslide. The real-time information of the disaster site has been needed to operate disaster prevention activity. Concerning to the dramatically improved internet technology in recent years, this study purposed the construction of the real-time landslide risk estimation system based on Digital Elevation Model (DEM) by using on-time series rainfall information. First, the past data of slope failure were searched from GIS database. Second, various topographic data from DEM were examined. As a result, the system could have predicted 7 landslides within estimate 8 risk points in Akita city.
