Characteristics of Observation Facilities Provided by Ski Resort Business during Green Season (Snow-Free Season)

Abstract

This study aims to clarify the characteristics of observation facilities provided by the ski resort business during the green season (snow-free season) and obtain suggestions on how to create observation content for the ski resort busi-ness during the green season. To this end, based on previous research, the concept of an observatory facility was constructed from three elements, namely, of mobile environment, stay environment, and usage fee. A grasp survey was conducted using the constructed observation facilities model. The results show that the characteristics of the observatory facility could be understood from 16 perspectives. By exploring the structure of the observation facilities, we were able to clarify the basic contentions that are useful for improving and creating observation content.
