Abstract
These days no matter how careful the individual consumer to be about buying products with as little packaging as possible, the amount of household waste continues to increase in this regard there are many problems that cannot be solved without the cooperation of the retailer. Therefore we focused our reseach on how the retailer in Tokushima approach the problem of reduction and recycling of containers and packaging. As a result of our reseach, we discovered that the big chain stores and large shopping centers have not only a more positive attitude but are more involved in the recycling of containers and packaging. However small outlets claim they do not have time or money to involve themselves in these kind of tasks. As consumers our assignment for the future is to create recycling system in which even small shop owners are able to participate. We will begin by appealing to the retailer and the local goverment for their support and involvement towards the reduction and recycling of containers and packaging in Tokushima.
