Abstract
Intellectual Property Education (IPE) involves the teaching of legal systems, morals, and intellectual property systems. This study investigated IPE lessons in elementary schools based on an analysis of a questionnaire conducted before and after lessons. The study also investigated the relationships between IPE and Consumer Education (CE). The study reports problems related to the Image Map issued by the Consumer Affairs Agency. IPE contributes to the development of consumer civil society, especially in the area of information and media, as shown in the Image Map. IPE does not cause consumers to become victims nor aggressors; rather, consumers become more sensitive in terms of information and morals.
