This research investigated the relationship between information related activities and developmental processes. The study involved 261 students who participated in lessons about contracts and the cooling-off system. The students were classified into three groups according to their responses to the information related activities, and the results were then analyzed to identify developmental processes. The results indicated that students who were highly ranked in terms of the information related activities were better able to analyze the contents of lessons, and more effective at communicating their understanding than lower ranked students. This indicated higher levels of developmental processes. Students, who were ranked lower according to the information related activities, demonstrated limited abilities in analyzing the contents of lessons and communicating their understanding. The results suggest that information related activities and student developmental process are closely related, and confirm the results of the previous preliminary study. demands, and must be applied to educational content and teaching methods.
