Abstract
The objective for this study is to grasp the degree of recognition with a new food system, its function claims, and how to promote it with appropriate consumer education. The results of the questionnaire survey show: 1)The degree of recognition for the new system is low with consumers who foster a preschool age child, 2)with fresh food, the degree of recognition is low despite the presence or absence of a preschool age child, and 3)false recognitions of function claims by consumers will undermine their willingness to buy foods with those that are valid.
