Reflection spectroscopy and static amd dynamic light-scattering measurements are made for the kinetic analyses of the growing processes of colloidal crystals of polystyrene and silica spheres in highly diluted and exhaustively deionized aqueous suspensions. Colloidal crystallization is explalned beautifully by the classical diffusion theory of crystaliza-tion, though the restricted diffusion of the reacting spheres like as the fused metal sys-tems should be taken into account.
