Abstract
The effect of boron compound on sintered coesite has been searched by the synthesis of it under high pressure and high temperature. The surface of coesite which was synthesized without boron compound was non-faceted ,but that synthesized with boron compound was faceted. Boron compound became liquid phase under our experimental condition, and coesite has grown faceted in boron compound solution.
