High luminescent CdSe/ZnS nanocrystals were prepared by an colloidal method using mixtures of boiling trioctylphosphine oxide and hexadecylamine as the coordinating solvent, and were characterized by TEM, STEM, EDAX, absorption and luminescence spectroscopy.
