Formation of nano-crystalline silicon films was reported. Pulsed laser was irradiated to 4nm-thick amorphous silicon thin films. There was a strong peak around 500cm^<-1> in Stokes Raman scattering spectra. This result suggested that nano-meters-size crystalline grains were densely formed by laser irradiation
