Abstract
Ice crystal growth experiments from the Antifreeze protein (AFP) solution were carried out under the high magnetic field condition. Growth rates along the a-axis were strongly modified by the effect of magnetic field. The kinetics of ice crystal growth is discussed in relation to the change of state of the adsorbed AFP molecules.
