Abstract
Carbon particles and carbon particles embedded Pt clusters were different morphological alteration by heating the sample in air. Carbon tube or ribbon-like spherules were predominantly produced by heating carbon particles. If the Pt clusters were embedded, carbon particles were coalesced and changed to the onion-like carbon coating Pt cluster.
