Abstract
A questionnaire was carried out for elementary-school children and students of junior high school, senior high school and university to clarify their envisaged image of foods as to several features.The results were as follows. 1.Elementary school children have an image of egg and milk to be protein rich and healthy. 2.Elementary school children have an image of carrot to be rich in vitamin and healthy. 3.Image of precooked Chinese noodles and potato chips were similar among the four school stages. 4.University students have a clear image of foods as to protein rich or poor and vitamin rich or poor.
