Abstract
The aim of this research was to examine an assessment of "Wolf Children" as a teaching material for child care education through the data for students' cognitive process.Design for this research was set up as a comparison between A-class students' cognitive process using the teaching material "Wolf Children" and that of B-class students using the teaching material "GENIE" to analyze students' cognitlve process as a group.The results were as follows :l It was fairly clear that both teaching materials interested students.2 It was shown that the teaching material "Wolf Children" was useful to help students understand human adaptability.There was a tendency that obscure information about their surroundings before Wolf Children were found disturbed the development of students' thinking.
