Abstract
The aim of this study was to define the actual condition of information education in home economics at senior high schools. The investigation was conducted on 277 teachers of home economics at senior high schools from January to February, 1998. The results were as follows: 1.Home economics education teachers attach importance to information education in home economics, but consider it difficult to teach effectively. 2.Factor analysis on information education in home economics identified seven significant factors, showing that the items of this investigation are comprehended as main factors information education.
