Introduction to the Local Floras of China

Abstract

Among 34 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and special administrative regions of China, plus those crossing over provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, 40 local floras for China have been published in more than half a century, some cover seed plants (spermatophytes), some vascular plants (tracheophytes) and some higher plants (embryophytes). Their general accounts with the dates of publication, volumes (parts), page extents and taxonomic coverage are reported in the present work.
