Distribution of Characteristics Correlated with Human Arousal Level Defined in Speech Signals, and Relationship between Characteristics and an Individual's Circadian Rhythm

Abstract

It is possible to define characteristics of human voice that correlate with a speaker's mental condition.

For deeper understanding of the characteristics, we recorded individuals' voices hourly from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily for over two years. We then analyzed the relationship between the characteristic values calculated from the recorded voices and the circadian rhythm. And, we analyzed the relationship between these values and the phonological structure.
