Simplified comparative method of attractiveness using scale model of obstruction warning signal

Abstract

In considering countermeasures against missed obstruction warning signal, it would be useful to be able to conduct a simple evaluation of the attractiveness before making the real thing. For this purpose, we developed a simple evaluation method that enables comparative evaluation of attractiveness by using models. We report the results of a case study with comparative evaluation of obstruction warning signal with luminescence patterns in which 40 operators.
