Abstract
As the automatic wicket system is consisted of machine which have the fuculty of a ticket examiner, and passengers who are not necessarily be acquainted with wicket system, we can not better the system characteristics without the research on the relation between a man and the machine.
For this purpose, we tried the pilot simulation on field the man machine system of automatic wicket device, then field test on system availability was pursued and, at last, the system evaluation was investigated by means of questionaire method and its statiscal analysis.
Through these testsand investigation, we foud what are the important factors to promote the automation of wicket system.
