燐酸カルシウム系新象牙質知覚過敏症治療薬の基礎ならびに臨床的研究

  Generally speaking, dentine hypersensitivity occurs when the dentine surface is exposed by attrition, abrasion and vital cavity preparation. In order to do treatment various agents and methods for the treatment of such a lesion, have been reported and have been used. This study was designed for the purpose of examing the effectiveness of the newly developed agents for treatment of cervical hypersensitive dentine. By using extracted human teeth and SEM, it was confirmed that the opened dentinal tubules on the surface of exposed dentine were closed with crystal compounds, calcium phosphate which was produced by mixing liquid A with B. As concerns the research of laser irradiation on the exposed dentinal tubules, for a 30mw semiconductor laser, there was no morphological change, but for a 1w, 10pps and 5 seconds ND : YAG laser, craker like structures were observed. On the other hand, one hundred and twentyone teeth were used for this clinical research. As the method of diagnosis of dentine hypersensitivity, air balst was used. The pain scores were classified into four grades as follows : grade 0, no pain or extremely slight pain ; grade Ⅰ, mild pain ; grade Ⅱ, strong but tolerable pain ; grade Ⅲ, intolerable pain simult aneously with stimulation by air blast. The results were as follows : out of the grade Ⅰ (30 teeth), 24 teeth (80%) were effective and 6 teeth (20%) were ineffective ; out of the grade Ⅱ (67 teeth), 13 teeth (19%) were extremely effective, 35 teeth (52%) were effective, and 19 teeth (28%) were ineffective ; out of the grade Ⅲ (24 teeth), 7 teeth (29%) were extremely effective 12 teeth (50%) were effective and 5 teeth (20%) were ineffective.

  From the above results, we can conclude that this medicament is a usefull agent to cervical hypersensitive dentine.
