A 41-year-old woman presented with rectal bleeding and inability to defecate. Gastrointestinal endoscopy revealed an epithelial tumor involving the sigmoid colon with obstruction. Based on the diagnosis of sigmoid colon carcinoma, surgery was performed. Pathologic evaluation of the surgical specimen revealed intestinal endometriosis.
