Abstract

"The American Journal of Occupational Therapy", "The British Journal of Occupational Therapy", "Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy"and "The Australian Occupational Therapy Journal"published in last ten year's were examined research trend on the teaching methods of occupational therapy at undergraduate level.Finding were as follows : (1)There were totally 134 studies(USA 68, England 32, Canada 20, Australia 14)on the subject.(2)Researches on the teaching method increased after 1995 in U.S.A.(3)After analyzing 30 studies of the teaching methods, they could be classified into 5 categories, 19 narraive styles, 5 true-experimental studies, 3 quasi-experimental studies, 2 questionnaires and 1 pre-experimental study.(4)The key concept has been changing from PBL(1995), CR(1996)to CL, EBL(1999)in U.S.A.England, Canada and Australia.(5)Only 11 were relatedto educational evaluations.
