The part fifteenth of this series contains descriptions of life colours of the species Nos. 203 to 207, with some interesting notes on the genera of Ventrifossa, Coelorhynchus and Abyssicola in the family Coryphaenoididae, and two examples of the intermediate forms between Pterophyrne histrio and ranina from Suruga Bay. The species Nos. 208 to 214 are represented by some records of recently examine species, such as Myripristis murdjan var. intermedius from Shikine-jima in the Seven Islands of Izu, Pristipomoides filamentosus (syn. sieboldi) and Caesio diagramma from Zensu Island (lat. 33°56'N., long. 138°49'E.), together with a few examples of species from Suruga Bay.
