Abstract
An ovarian tumor of Oncorhynchus kisruch (Walbaum) was studied histologically. The tumor was consisted of several well-encapsulated masses and it grew expansively. There was no infiltration into the parenchyma of the ovary (Fig.1).The tumor was composed of spindle-shaped cells of various sizes and interlacing bundles of fibrous and connective tissue which showed whorled appearance in some areas (Figs.2 and 3).The tumor seems to he arisen from the Stromal connective tissue of the ovary. The atrophy of ovarian eggs was observed (Figs.4 and 5).Judging from these facts, this tumor was identified with fibroma.
