Abstract
In lingual orthodontic treatment, the anchorage is very strong, especially in the mandible. Therefore, in the minor crowding cases, it is expected that the retraction of lower anterior teeth is possible by its biomechanics in nonextraction cases. In addition, miniscrews have been often used relatively in current years. Moreover, it is also possible to perform IPR for the deficiency of space. I think that lingual orthodontics can treat in more cases without extraction of premolars than with labial orthodontics by comprehensively utilizing them. Considering these factors, I report that lingual orthodontic treatment performed on two cases of malocclusion with different types, and good results were obtained.
