Abstract
Specimens were prepared from biopsied human liver sample and thorotrast solution.
The molecular form of the thorium was analyzed by a selected area-diffraction method. Debye-Scherrer rings coincided with those of thorium dioxide, except for an unidentified ring of weak intensity.
These results indicated that thorium deposited in human tissues exits mainly as a form of its dioxide.
