Abstract
Two cases of necrotizing sialometaplasia in the palate are reported. The first patient was 29-year-old female with a chief complaint of ulcer formation in the right palate. Second patient was 26-year-old female with a chief complaint of spontaneous pain from left palate to buccal region. Tissue biopsy was peformed and the diagnosis of necrotizing sialometaplasia was confirmed. These cases were followed by administration of antibiotics and nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs. The lesions were healed spontaneously, and recurrence was not observed.
