Abstract

It seems uncommon that nodular fascntis usually arising from the fascia and showing a rapid proliferation of fibroblasts appears in the oromaxillary region. We recently experienced a case of nodular fasciitis arising from the submandibular region in a 2-year-old boy. Only 10 cases including ours of nodular fasciitis in the oromaxillary region have been so far reported in our country, and our patient was the youngest.
