The patient was a 15-year old girl. About eight months previously she noticed gingival swelling in 8 region, and pain in 7. She was referred to our hospital by a dentist on Sep. 18, 1987. A ramus of the mandible showed absorption of bone. Tumorectomy was done on Oct. 21, and after that histopathological diagnosis of benign fibrous histiocytoma was made.
