Abstract
Angiosarcoma, a malignant vascular tumor, is very rare as a primary focus in the oromaxillary region. We recently encountered a case of angiosarcoma arising from the mandible in a 7-year-old girl. The tumor was treated with radiotherapy, surgery and chemotherapy but death occurred about 3 years after initial presentation. Only 2 cases, including ours, of angiosarcoma in the mandible have been reported in Japan.
