POSSIBILITY OF PREDICTING INTRADIALYTIC HYPOTENSION USING BIOLOGICAL SIGNAL PROCESSING

Abstract

Intradialytic hypotension (IDH) is the most common dialysis complication. Previous studies have indicated that elderly people, diabetes, malnutrition, anemia, and cardiac dysfunction are particularly likely to cause IDH. Many researches tried to identify IDH using bio signals. However, despite challenging the development of prediction methods, there are hardly any research clinically implemented. In this paper, we propose several methods for predicting IDH using bio signal processing specifically new parameter.
