Although the airborne concentrations of Cryptomeria japonica (C. japonica) pollen have been automatically evaluated all around Japan since 2008 by the Japan Ministry of Environment, these data have not been used for the analysis of the nation-scale pollen dispersal dynamics because the amount of the accumulated data are too large to handle. In this study, the analysis method to track the temporal change of the pollen dispersion dynamics using the data was considered by defining the pollen dispersion inducing point, which is representative of the seasonal changes that induces the pollen dispersion. Our results showed that it would be possible to analyze the changes in the pollen dispersion over the years by using the pollen dispersion inducing point and the accumulated data of the airborne C. japonica concentrations.
