Abstract

The aim of the present study is to define the psychological concept of stage fright which has been only poorly defined. The method adopted for the concept definition is factor analysis which has been used effectivly to investigate the structure of the basi concept of the psychological phenomenon. The psycho-physiological traits for factorc analysis were selected by item analysis and estimation of pasychologists and coaches. Selected 51 items were factored by two times factor analysis. As the basic concept of stage fright 5 factors were found, but one of them was not so exactly defined. 1. Tension of sympathetic nervous system. 2. Lack of psychological concentration and tension. 3. Feeling of anxiety. 4. Disorder of motor skills. 5. Inferiority complex (not so exactly defined).
