Abstract
1) Serum dopamine β-hydroxylase activity, serum free fatty acid and serum cortisol were examined during acetylcholine inhalation. As the result, asthmatic children exhibited lower sympathetic function than did normals. A compensatory increased adrenal function was needed. This lowering sympathetic function of the asthmatic children appears to indicate some dysfunctions in the upper part rather than the sympathetic post ganglionic fiibers.2) Self monitoring relaxation method utilizing biofeedback technique seems to be a good training method for asthmatic children.
