Abstract
The author has made a experimental research of teeth colour and explained the basic theory of them.
Natural teeth are seen as a transparent white due to the colour of enamel and dentine, the former consisting of its surface colour and the one o f inner layer.
The colour of inner layer has the more amountof scattering light caused by small particles of calcium phosphate and yellowish orange of protein contained in enamel tissue.
Dentine colour is same as its protein colour above mentioned in transparent one and in reflected one.
From these points of view, many phenomenons of teeth colour will be understood, for example, dryed teeth are more white than wet ones.
In these experiments the author used the spectrophotomeric analysis of teeth colour, but it was not necessary to calculate its principal
