Weheld an ICLS instructor training workshop (WS) using a new design, to cultivatehuman resources who are interested in resuscitation simulation educationalactivities and who can promote their behavioral changes in their workplace.Newly formulated session items were scenario creation and modification, alphatest, beta test, and video debriefing. Visual effects without time lag broughtawareness of their actions in the process of completing the scenario. Shortlyafter, the WS participants showed signs of using their experience ofparticipating in the WS as instructors in the ICLS course for in-hospital staffin their instructional methods. It was thought that continuing to devise andpractice further WS designs would contribute to the maintenance and developmentof ICLS courses in the future.
