Abstract
The patient was a 63-year-old male who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer with multiple liver metastases. Metastatic tumors were detected in both lobes, and resection was considered to be impossible. After a laparoscopic right colectomy for the original lesion, panitumumab combined with mFOLFOX6 was administered. The 6 courses of chemotherapy were effective ; there was a remarkable reduction in the size of the tumor. A curative resection could be performed for the metastatic lesion. We report a case of advanced colorectal cancer with unresectable multiple liver metastases in which panitumumab/mFOLFOX6 was effective. After the chemotherapy, surgical resection could be successfully performed.
